About Overlandaholic

I’m Jordan, an automotive, outdoor, adventure enthusiast. I am passionate about creating content that bridges the gap between storytelling and documentation. I produce a range of content, including cinematic films, raw vlogs, trail-tested gear reviews, and lifestyle photography from my adventures. Overlandaholic is where I share what I learn, what I build, and what I capture along the way. If you’re into building overland and off-road vehicles, being outdoors, or just looking for content that’s made with a purpose, you’re in the right place.

Overlandaholic is more than just another overlanding blog. It's a personal journal, gear guide, and creative platform built for people who crave adventures and great gear that gets them there. From truck builds and overlanding tips to honest gear reviews and cinematic storytelling, Overlandaholic brings you into the world of real adventure told through real experiences.

I didn’t build this to influence. I built it to document what I love: trucks, trails, and the pursuit of something real. This is what it looks like when content comes from the heart, not a content calendar.

So, What is Overlandaholic?

Overlandaholic is a content-driven personal brand focused on overlanding, truck builds, and outdoor gear you can count on. What started as a side project quickly grew into a go-to resource, personal brand, and online community for trail-tested gear reviews, build guides, and lifestyle content. Whether you're building out a Tacoma, looking for your next camp setup, or just love getting lost on purpose, welcome to the club.

Meet the Creator - Jordan Weaver

Jordan Weaver, outdoor and automotive content creator, in an orange Seager hat outdoors in a wooded area.

I’m Jordan Weaver, a photographer, filmmaker, writer, and marketer based in Northwest Arkansas. I’ve spent years behind the camera and under the truck, merging creativity with real-world experiences. My daily driver is a 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road, and it's more than just a vehicle; it’s the foundation for most of what I create.

With a background in marketing and a passion for creating, I bring a unique perspective to the overlanding world: part gear nerd, part storyteller, and 100% obsessed with creating meaningful content that tells a story and looks good.

How I Work With Brands

How I Work With Brands

Black Toyota Tacoma built for overlanding with a front bumper, bronze wheels, rooftop tent, and rock sliders. The Tacoma is on a dirt road.

Overlandaholic partners with outdoor, automotive, and overlanding brands to create high-quality, authentic content that performs. Whether it's a sponsored blog post, a cinematic product video, or a lifestyle shoot in the backcountry, I offer content services rooted in both creative direction and conversion-driven strategy. My years of experience as a marketing manager and creator allows me to tell product stories in ways that resonate with real users and drive real results. All partnerships are clearly disclosed, and I only work with gear I actually believe in.

FAQs

What kind of truck do you drive?

I drive a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road that I’ve put a lot of work into to make it the ultimate overland and creative workspace setup for my personal needs. You can see all of my parts and build list here.

What camera do you use to make content?

For the first couple of years, I actually used a Canon T7 Rebel DSLR camera, but within the past year or so I upgraded to a Sony A7III and absolutely love it. If you want to see all of the content creation gear I use, check it out here.

Is Overlandaholic your full-time gig?

Not quite, but I’d love for it to be someday. Right now, Overlandaholic is my passion project outside of work. By day, I’m a full-time Marketing Manager for a truck accessories brand, where I handle everything from website design and SEO to graphic design and content creation/strategy. It’s a role that sharpens my creative and technical skills and much of what I do there carries over into the content I create here.
